**FuNerEaL wOrLd**

2008 was officially one of the worst years most of us relate to but the majority of us still were as usual stoned and wasted as the last few seconds of the last year just screamed past us......."well its officially now another new year to look forward to", multitude of souls using these pseudo thoughts to convince themselves that their lives wont be the big cliches they realise it to be......well the people of this country can blame politics for whats left of their adulterated lives but perils of modern day democracy are here to stay.

The recent attacks in Mumbai does not only unveil the fact that the politicians of the nation are not just under qualified but also lack the ability to go on the offensive. They would rather lick each others ass and hold these pseudo peace talks which inadvertently just make the front pages of the newspapers and disappear.

Immediately after the attacks Manmohan Singh's 'Im the P.M and im just here to keep MY plate clean' appeal to the people of India was and i quote"war is no solution.I hope some sense will prevail on the leadership of Pakistan to recognise that tackling terrorism is an area that needs cooperation.".
Isn't it time before he realized we need less of these overtly "Mother Teresa" talks???......
Isn't it time we addressed the underlying issues and the conspicuous fact that unless this facade we are hiding behind is wiped out we will never be able to live the life of democracy so proudly promised by the constitution??.......Is this where we have come to even after the meteoric advancement of technology and science??.....living the lives of fugitives and the ease at which these self proclaimed 'messengers of god' strike at will just makes everything else irrelevant....will we ever be able to step out on a nice sunny morning again and just for a moment picture a metamorphosed world where the sunny days dont suddenly become bloody and gory??

These are the issues the 'babus' should be breifed about before giving their victory speeches.....also make them realize that the public is not entitled to z level security......wats the point of keeping the politicians safe when the people a re being recklessly sacrificed over a few square kilometers of land??is it really worth it??
The attack in Mumbai could have been carried out anywhere even right outside any of our doorsteps......who knows it might be any one of us next, being shot at by a couple of tortured and tormented teenage souls.

  1. Posts on Mumbai blasts had started off as a trend on the internet! Somehow this one seemed a lot different from the rest of them.

Futile discussions, debates, sympathy sessions etc are such a turn off and are portrayed as a ground-breaking phenomenon.

    Wonderful post! :)
    Cheers

  2. Nice post! How about some thought on what we as normal Indians can do to bring new direction to politics. Is it possible for the high thinking man without political connections to govern or form the government? If not, what must we do as a nation to make it possible in the future.

  3. Yo man! Excellent post!!! It epitomizes the mental state of the present youth which is disillusioned by the petty politics and bureaucracy. Hats off to you and hopefully we will soon have politicians who actually care about the nation rather than filling their own coffers.
